“Lukewarm Decisions Steal Your Destiny: Why Taking Action Matters More Than Ever”

Coming off Thanksgiving, I’ve been sitting with a lot of gratitude — not just for my family, my health, and the people I get to serve, but for the lessons this year has demanded that I learn. Gratitude always brings clarity, and clarity always reveals truth. And one truth kept rising to the surface for me this past week:

The life you want cannot be built on lukewarm decisions.

Thanksgiving has a way of slowing us down just enough to actually hear ourselves — the desires we’ve been suppressing, the goals we’ve been dancing around, the changes we know we need to make but keep putting off until “next month,” “next year,” or “when things calm down.”

But here’s the thing, love:

Indecision is still a decision.

And lukewarm living is one of the biggest silent dream-killers.

Why Lukewarm Decision-Making Keeps You Stuck

Most people don’t stay stuck because they don’t know what to do.

They stay stuck because they:

  • Want change but don’t want discomfort

  • Pray for elevation but avoid action

  • Crave clarity but ignore the small next steps

  • Dream big yet only commit halfway

It’s not that they don’t want the transformation.

It’s that they’re not willing to decide for it.

And I get it — life gets real. Grief, transitions, uncertainty, personal battles, career shifts… all of it can make you want to pause your entire life until you “feel ready.”

This year alone, I’ve walked through moments that forced me to strengthen my faith, question my own comfort zones, and choose whether I was going to settle or step.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

Lukewarm decisions don’t build legacy.

Intentional, courageous action does.

When God is calling you into a new season, He won’t allow you to stay comfortable. Growth doesn’t happen in the lukewarm middle. It happens when you step fully — not halfway — into the next version of yourself.

Taking Action Is a Spiritual and Strategic Choice

Taking action is not about rushing.

It’s about alignment.

It’s about choosing:

✨ Faith over fear

✨ Clarity over confusion

✨ Movement over stagnation

✨ Commitment over convenience

Action says to God, “I trust You enough to move, even when I can’t see the full picture yet.”

Every major shift in my life — becoming a coach, losing 50+ pounds, building my business, entering new rooms, creating my retreat, launching new offers, and even navigating hard personal seasons — came from choosing not to stay lukewarm.

I made decisions that felt uncomfortable, bold, scary, and sometimes lonely…

But every single one of them led me closer to purpose.

The Cost of Not Taking Action

People often think the cost of taking action is too high.

But the real cost is what happens if you don’t.

When you stay lukewarm:

  • Your goals slow down

  • Your confidence weakens

  • Your faith gets shaky

  • Your purpose feels distant

  • Your dreams wait for a commitment you never give

Ask yourself honestly:

What is it costing me to stay the same?

Because the truth is, staying stuck is never free.

As We Close Out the Year, Here’s My Coaching for You

Before stepping into the new year, check your temperature:

Are you lukewarm?

Or are you ready to take aligned, intentional action?

And remember — you don’t have to take action alone.

If you’re ready to shift your mindset, get clear on your next steps, and move into your next season with confidence and intention, here is a way I can support you right now:

✨ Empower & Elevate Retreat (March 6, 2026)

A transformational, faith-centered experience that will help you break patterns, activate purpose, and surround yourself with women committed to real change.

This will support you in taking action — not halfway, not lukewarm — but fully, boldly, and with alignment.

Final Thought

Your next level is waiting for a decision from you.

Not a maybe.

Not a “when life slows down.”

Not a lukewarm commitment.

A real decision. A decisive step. A declaration of faith.

You deserve a life that feels aligned, purposeful, and abundant — and that life begins when you stop standing at the door and finally walk through it.

Here’s to clarity, courage, and closing the year with intention.

Here’s to choosing action over comfort.

And here’s to the version of you that’s on the other side of that decision.

You’re worth it — and I’m cheering for you every step of the way. 💛
