Embracing Peace, Preparation, and Pockets of Rest

Hey beautiful souls,

Summer is here, and I’ve been soaking it up—not just the sunshine, but the stillness, the joy, and the peace that this season brings. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much I cherish time freedom. While I’m not fully there yet, I’ve found a rhythm that allows me to balance my work, my goals, and my life in a way that feels aligned. That alone is a blessing I don’t take for granted.

To be honest, there are goals I still wish I was tackling more aggressively. I’m ambitious—always have been—but I’m also learning to trust the process. God’s timing is perfect, and I truly believe He will never put more on me than I can carry. So instead of forcing things, I’m choosing to lean into preparation, alignment, and obedience.

Right now, I’m preparing for something very special—my next retreat. I’m not rushing to finalize every detail, but I’m intentionally listening and observing to make sure the right speakers and voices join the stage. I want every person who pours into my community to come with the same heart posture: one rooted in purpose, healing, and truth.

And as I prepare, one thing remains clear: rest is real—and it’s necessary.

So here’s my gentle encouragement to you: from now until the end of the year, find your pockets of rest. Carve out space for mental clarity. Prioritize your well-being—yes, your physical and emotional health, but also your abundance mindset. Because the truth is, wellness isn’t just about working out or eating right—it’s about living in overflow in all areas of life.

I don’t know what season you’re in, but I do know this: you’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to pace yourself. And you’re absolutely allowed to choose peace.

Let this be your reminder that rest is not weakness—it’s wisdom.

With gratitude and grace,

Darneisha
